Ah, shoes. Another wonderful part of the wedding. I always love seeing what shoes our brides have picked out. A lot of them got smart in 2014 and opted for ballet flats or wedges. I mean, hello, outdoor wedding. There is grass.
And then usually around 8pm, the flip flops are out. Praise.
So here is my ode to the short life of wedding shoes.
I’ll give you one guess as to why I decided to post about desserts this week. Snow. The snow this week has wrecked my regular eating habits so sweet, sweet food is on my mind. If we get anymore snow, you can guarantee that there will be another food related post.
2014 was filled with wedding cake, yes, but cookies, candy, cupcakes, pies and tiramisu as well. Is any else hungry?
I am so excited to be writing the Best of Series once again! It was so much fun last year looking through wedding pictures and this year, we received even MORE pictures. You girls tried your hardest to crash my computer but it prevailed. I will be investing in an external hard drive very soon.
To kick start this series, and the most romantic weekend of the year, we are going to begin with wedding dresses. Can I just say, we have the most stunning clients. I mean, seriously girls, you rocked it in these pictures.

The two pictures above are the cutest! The groom surprised his new wife with a serenade. He sang the Avett Brother’s song January Wedding but changed the words to September Wedding. There were tears in my eyes that night.
Gotta love some good signage. Chalkboards were huge this year.
